The head of the Girbau Lab, Mariona Sanz, was invited to take part in the debate about disruptive innovation at the ACCIÓ Exponential Day under the title ‘Disrupt or Be Disrupted’, with the participation of four representatives from Catalan businesses that are taking on the challenge of transforming all of their business models through disruptive innovation to become exponential organisations. Apart from Mariona Sanz (Girbau Lab), Elisenda Bou (Vilynx), Mar Alarcón (SocialCar) and Mireia García (Innomads) also took part. The debate, led by the CEO at ACCIÓ, Joan Romero, was open but it was run in a question-and-answer format regarding trends in disruptive innovation with Salim Ismail (OpenExO) and about methods for becoming exponential organisations with Francisco Palao, the vice-chairman at OpenExo.
