Sir Joan, learning mechatronics at Girbau
Girbau has joined the challenge organised by Creacció (the Osona area enterprise, innovation and knowledge agency) to promote careers associated with industry among young people.
Different influencers from adolescents.cat took part in the action. In the case of Girbau, the well-known @sir.joan, with nearly 50,000 teenage followers on Instagram, appeared in several videos where he explains what is involved and what it means to work in mechatronics. The videos were distributed through the influencers' social networks, adolescents.cat and Creacció.
Under the label #Challengeindustria, the videos seek to make an impact on the imagination of young people considering a career direction involving occupations and jobs in industrial companies, for which there is high demand.
This initiative is part of Girbau's commitment to strengthen its links with the regions were it works, in this case the one where it has its headquarters, as well as helping to support new generations.
